5 high end beauty products;are they worth buying or not?
Whenever I see a make up product I like or want to try out I look for reviews to make sure that I’m not wasting my money especially when it comes to high end products. We see these products everywhere, every makeup addict has definitely at least one of these products in her makeup bag! These brands definitely know how to make a hype around their products, but the question is; are they worth the hype?
I’ll start with the product that I had the longest for and that is:
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade
Before using this I used a cheap drugstore one which after a long day would end up smudging across my face or fading. After discovering the ABH dipbrow I haven’t experienced a bad eyebrow day as it stays on from the morning right till the evening and the application is wonderful too thanks to the smooth creamy texture. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new product for their brows. I can promise you that, you will not regret it. Furthermore ABH offers a wide range of different shades so however light or dark your skin and hair are I’m sure you’ll find one for yourself and also the price is considerably cheap compared to the high end brow products.
They are available on Beauty Bay and Cult Beauty.

The Balm Mary-Lou Illuminator
I have yet to try many more amazing highlighters and illuminators, ever since I’ve started using this one; my makeup doesn’t feel finished without it. A good highlight can make or break a make up look depending where it is placed and the amount used as we don’t want it to be barely visible or too much and end up looking greasy instead of glowy. Anyway going back to the product Mary-Lou is a great everyday illuminator, if you’re looking for just a soft glow for everyday looks then this is definitely a product for you. But I’m afraid that if you’re going for a very glowy look then this product might disappoint you. I will probably buy it again while being on a hunt for a stronger one.
I have purchased mine on Feelunique.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick
When I got this product for my birthday; I couldn’t wait to try it straight away as it was on my wish list for ages. It stayed on throughout the whole night, even though I had to reapply it a few times. A big positive of the ABH liquid lipsticks is the wide range of colours available, which is also a downside because when you’re trying to choose one or two it can be quite difficult. The only downside to the actual liquid lipsticks would be the texture that definitely makes me miss the times of traditional lipsticks, after a few hours your lips can start feeling very dry. Before deciding to get any more of the colours I will probably test a few other liquid lipsticks seeing as there’s so many out there and compare them and definitely let you know which one is worth buying and which one isn’t.
Purchased on official Anastasia Beverly Hills website.

Urban Decay Setting Spray

The hottest day of the year was probably the best time to test the effectiveness of this product. I had this product for a while now but I haven’t got round to using it until now, I only got the small 30ml bottle to test how well it works. Let me tell you this; while others were complaining about their makeup melting in the heat; mine stayed perfectly in place (to an extend of course)! It’s definitely one of those ‘must have’ products that every woman should have in her make up bag especially at the price of £9 for a small bottle which honestly will probably last me a long time as I only use it before going out or on very hot days and both of those cases don’t happen often.
Purchased on Feelunique.

Benefit They’re Real Mascara

Benefit please forgive me, I love you but and this is the moment where you’re like oh no there’s a but. After reading lots of positive reviews I’ve decided to purchase the sample version of they’re real mascara and it was nothing like I expected it to be. After using it my eyelashes looked all stuck together rather than giving me the false eyelashes effect. During the day the mascara crumpled down leaving a mess under my eyes and at the end of the day the mascara was terribly difficult to remove. Nevertheless we all make mistakes and I will not be put off from Benefit makeup because of this experience but I definitely don’t recommend They’re Real Mascara.

I’ve tried a few more highlighters by now and I must admit that the Mary-Lou is probably the best!
